KAFE exists as a standalone brand, independent of place. When a number appears, 001, 002, and so on, it marks the moment KAFE becomes rooted in a specific space. This system doesn’t just label locations, it frames them as chapters within a larger narrative.
Rather than using street names or cities, each number ties KAFE to a collaboration, an environment, and a creative perspective. It is modular, consistent yet flexible, allowing KAFE to grow while maintaining unity. Each number becomes a signature, a timestamp, a distinct presence within a connected story.

KAFE is proud to introduce 001, a one-of-one collaboration with BROSKIN STUDIOS that reimagines how people come together over coffee. Hidden behind a concrete façade on Melrose Avenue, beside the iconic pink Paul Smith boutique, and inspired by the work of Luis Barragán, the space was designed to feel intensely artistic, bold, and modern. At its center is a sculptural silicone island, engineered and fabricated by BROSKIN, paired with steel panels to create a tactile environment that blurs the line between design, technology, and artistry. Extending into the courtyard, 001 offers not only a place for coffee but a platform for community gatherings and artistic events, a sensory experience that feels alive, immersive, and distinctly one-of-one.
